Bankruptcy proceeding is a legal process which is initiated against individual who is unable to settle their debts owing to any creditors.
CREDIT
A creditor shall be entitled to present a bankruptcy petition against a debtor when the debt owing by the debtor to the petitioning creditor.
- Once an individual is adjudged bankrupt, all the assets belonging to the bankrupt would be liquidated, and the proceeds of sales would be distributed to the company’s creditor.
